About Dr Farey
Dr John Farey is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, with a PhD in joint replacement from the University of Sydney. He manages a range of conditions of the hip and knee, with particular expertise in total and partial joint replacement, robotic and computer-assisted surgery, as well as revision surgery for troublesome joint replacements.
Dr Farey undertook subspecialist training in hip and knee replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, the top ranked orthopaedic hospital in the United States. He completed additional fellowships in knee surgery with internationally renowned surgeons Dr Samuel MacDessi and Dr Darren Chen, and orthopaedic trauma at Cambridge University, United Kingdom.
Dr Farey graduated with 1st Class Honours from the University of Notre Dame Australia, Sydney. Outside of work, Dr Farey enjoys spending time with his family and is a proud father of three children.
